EastEnders has aired an unexpected return after big developments for The Six in the show’s latest episode.
This week, Dean Wicks’ murder trial fell apart after he admitted that he raped Linda Carter. But wracked with guilt, Linda later arrived at the police station and, in a huge twist, she confessed to killing Keanu.
In today’s episode, Linda explained what happened to Keanu – but she made up a false story so not to implicate the other women involved.
But the detective didn’t believe what she was saying and thought Linda’s story didn’t make sense, as there was no evidence.

Johnny was worried that his mum had done something stupid, while Ritchie updated Sharon in prison about Linda’s confession.
She told Ritchie to phone the other women, who then secretly met up, scared that Linda was going to tell Bernie the truth.
Meanwhile, Linda returned to the Square and did just that, admitting to Bernie that she was her brother’s killer, leaving Bernie distraught.
Bernie’s distress turned to fury, and she attacked Linda, strangling her like Keanu did to Sharon before eventually letting her go.

Bernie was confused as to why the police didn’t believe Linda, and at that point the other women arrived at the café, with Kathy admitting that they were all there when Keanu died.
Kathy explained the escalating events of Christmas Day, but Bernie was devastated that her friend had lied to her all this time.
Assuming that Bernie was going to go to the police with this information, Denise begged for a bit of time to say goodbye to their children.
Linda was asked to come to the station again, where Ritchie gave her a few minutes to see Sharon before she was taken in the prison van.

Meanwhile, Bernie phoned her mum and tried to explain the truth, but she broke down in tears and realised that nothing could bring Keanu back.
Sharon, sentenced to seven days for contempt of court, was taken to her prison cell by a guard with her bag of things.
But the guard then went to the next cell along, where he put down a packet of cigarettes in exchange for some cash.
