There are three UK race meetings taking place on Tuesday and, once more, there’s a double bill of jump racing in the afternoon followed by all-weather Flat fare in the evening.
Leicester (2.00-4.30pm) and Catterick (2.15-4.45) are the venues for the National Hunt fare, before eight races on the Tapeta at Southwell (5.00-8.30).
Tuesday’s nap represents trainer Ryan Potter at Catterick and deserves a change of fortune after finishing second in two recent races.

Horse racing predictions: Catterick 2.45
This female jockeys’ handicap hurdle over 2m 3f presents an opportunity for FAZAYTE to avoid an unwanted hat-trick of silver medals.
Ryan Potter’s charge was a winner over hurdles in October at Stratford (2m 2½f, good) and nabbed his second victory since joining his new trainer when picking up a Market Rasen handicap chase over 2m 3f on the first day of December.
He has been placed in all four starts since and can count himself a touch unlucky to have bumped into easy winners in recent weeks at Uttoxeter (2m, good to soft) and Newcastle (2m 1f, good).
He ran into a horse with 12lb in hand on ratings in the latter and did about as well as could be expected in giving him something to think about.
The assessor has perhaps generously eased Fazayte 2lb for that beating and going back up in trip to 2m 3½f promises to suit. He looks to be worth backing to end a brief bout of seconditis.
Selection: Fazayte @ SP with Sky Bet
Horse racing predictions: Southwell 5.00
The evening card opens with a five-furlong sprint and ARZAAK is fancied to avenge his defeat over course and distance behind the re-opposing Another Angel from five days ago.
The winner did it well that afternoon and should go close again for Cam Hardie but a look back at the replay will show Arzaak travelling really smoothly behind a wall of horses.
Connor Beasley had to wait a long time for a gap to present itself and his partner then had to squeeze through and be brave to get out after the eventual winner, closing every inch to the winning line in finishing a never-nearer second.
Granted more luck in the run, this three-time course-and-distance winner can avenge that defeat.
Selection: Arzaak @ SP with Sky Bet
Horse racing predictions: Leicester 4.00
Espoir De Teillee is forecast to head the betting for this 2m 6½f hunter chase but it’s hardly inspiring to note the likely jolly hasn’t managed to complete any of his previous four starts.
For that reason, COUSIN PASCAL is a good alternative. He won the Aintree Foxhunters in 2021 and, while he was pulled up at Hereford over 2m 5f on soft ground in January, that was his first outing in 276 days and can be forgiven.
The 11-year-old coasted to victory in a point-to-point since then and so, given the lack of opposition, this is as good an opening as he will find under Rules.
Selection: Cousin Pascal @ SP with Sky Bet
