KENNESAW, Ga. – The Kennesaw State women’s tennis team continues its homestand as it welcomes Georgia State to the Betty Siegel Courts this Tuesday. The Owls are carrying the drive from Sunday’s match to keep their undefeated record at home.

Scouting the Panthers
Ga State went 17-6 overall and 9-1 in the Sun Belt Conference last season. The Panthers currently have 5 players returning for the 2022-23 season.
The Series
Tuesday’s match will be the eighth meeting between the two programs. Kennesaw State is coming off a tight 4-3 win over Georgia State from the 2021-22 season.
Last time out
The Kennesaw State women’s tennis team clinched a 4-1 victory over South Carolina State University on Sunday, Feb. 26th at the Betty Siegel Courts.
Ji Youn Lee swept Rachida Berjane in a dominating performance 6-0, 6-0. Sophia Unger followed in pursuit to defeat Teodora Vujicic 6-1, 6-2. Court three collected the third win for the Owls as Sophia Madrid secured her singles match to give Kennesaw State the third point.
Amulika Gottiparthy was able to clinch the final point for the Owls, defeating Malannia Vashkevich 6-2, 6-2. With the victory, the Owls remain undefeated at home and improve to 4-1 on the season.

The Owls head to Boca Raton to take on FAU Thursday Mar. 9th at 1:00 p.m. at the Kimberly V. Strauss Tennis Center.
