No. 4 Emirates Affair (2-1) fired trifecta shots in all six starts since moving to the Robert Masco barn. She romped on Sept. 19 and landed the place on Oct. 24, and the show finisher from her last was a next-out winner. The sharp mare owns early-pressing versatility.
No. 6 Confirmed Genius (5-1) makes her second start since Scott Lake re-claimed her on Oct. 2. She reconnects with her winning rider Frankie Pennington and projects a stalking trip. She handles a wet track and should offer value.
No. 7 Dream Chaser (6-1) easily handled local state-bred foes in a slow early-fast late route on July 18, and the clear runner-up was a next-out winner. She graduated at this course and distance on Feb. 8.
